"The peach-glazed chicken tastes like somebody's grandmother is still watching the kitchen. Because apparently, she is."

Peach-glazed chicken, slow-smoked brisket and cobbler still warm from the oven — served from a truck that treats every parking lot like a front porch.
The Rolling Peach started with Miss Odessa's peach glaze — the one she brushed on Sunday chicken for forty years in Marietta — and a simple idea from her grandson, Marcus: if the line at her table never ended, why not put the table on wheels?
Everything on the truck is made from scratch each morning: brisket rubbed and smoked low for twelve hours, green tomatoes battered to order, and cobbler baked in cast iron while the truck rolls to its first stop. No freezers full of shortcuts. Just a small kitchen, a big smoker, and Georgia peaches whenever they're in season — and a good frozen peach plan when they're not.
Same route every week, rain or shine unless the weather turns serious. Follow the smell of oak smoke.

"Booked them for our company picnic — 200 people fed in under two hours and the cobbler line was longer than the brisket line."

"I plan my Thursdays at Atlantic Station around this truck. Fried green tomatoes done right are a rare thing in this city."
